To use the Module Self Enrol Tool you will need to locate the CRN.
The CRN appears after the module name, and you need only the number, no spaces or other text:
Course Code – Module Name – CRN – Year
AIH430006 – This is my Module – 12345 – 201415
To self-enrol on a module, log in to the system then go to the ‘Modules’ tab.
Please note that you can only enrol yourself using this method. If you wish to enrol colleagues, please view our guide to adding users to your module.
1.Find the Module Self-Enrol channel and type the CRN of the module you wish to enrol yourself on (e.g. 12345) into the search box, then click Search. If you don’t know the CRN, a course administrator will be able to get it for you from Banner.
2. From the list of results, select the module (with the correct year) you would like to enrol on. You will also need to select your institutional role. Once you have done this click Submit.
3. You will see a confirmation screen which will tell you that you have been enrolled on the module. A confirmation e-mail will also be sent to yourself, the Learning Systems team and a senior member of your faculty.
4. Click on the modules tab again to refresh your module and the module will appear in the My Modules channel in the Modules tab.
